A few simple tips to help you keep your flowers for as long as possible!
- Re-cut the stems when you put them in water, and every few days after. Just cutting off a little bit of stem at the end will allow them to take up more water – keeping them fresher, longer.
- Keep the water clean. Bacteria in the water is a quick way to shorten the life of your flowers. Keep their water clean and you’ll get more days of enjoyment!
- Cooler is better. Avoid placing your flowers in the direct sun, or in hot spots in your house. The cooler they are, the longer they’ll last.
- Pull stems as they go. Each flower has a different vase life, and some are shorter lived than others. Instead of tossing your entire bouquet/arrangement when a few go, pull those stems out and enjoy the rest!
